GardenCalc is run by a small team based in the UK. We read every message personally and aim to reply within 48 hours, Monday to Friday. During busy periods (typically spring and early summer, when half the country is rediscovering their garden), it may take a little longer — but we will get back to you.

What We Can Help With

We genuinely want to hear from you. Here are the most common reasons people get in touch:

Calculator suggestions — Got an idea for a new tool? We have built 18 calculators so far, every one of them based on what UK gardeners actually asked for. Your suggestion could become the next one.
Bug reports — If a calculator gives you an unexpected result, or something looks broken on your device, please let us know. Include the numbers you entered and we will fix it quickly.
Accuracy queries — Our coverage rates and material densities are based on UK industry data, but every garden is different. If you think a default value needs adjusting, we are happy to discuss it.
Partnership and press enquiries — We are open to collaborations with garden centres, landscaping suppliers, horticultural societies and gardening publications across the UK. If you would like to feature our calculators or explore a partnership, drop us a line.
Newsletter feedback — Thoughts on The Garden Brief? Topic requests, praise, or constructive criticism — all welcome.

Response Times

We prioritise messages in this order:

Bug reports and broken calculators — typically within 24 hours
General questions and suggestions — within 48 hours
Partnership and press enquiries — within 3 working days

If your message is urgent (for example, a calculator is returning incorrect results that could cause someone to over-order materials), please put "URGENT" in the subject line and we will bump it to the top of the queue.
